Spring in Incline Village always brings a shift in energy. The snow begins to melt, longer days return, and the golf courses come back to life.
With the Incline Village Championship Golf Course opening Friday, May 8th, and the Mountain Golf Course following on May 15th, the 2026 golf season is right around the corner.
If you are looking for more than just a tee time, this is the moment to get involved. Joining a local golf club is one of the easiest ways to meet people and turn a simple round into something more meaningful. Golf in Incline Village is as much about connection as it is about the game. Whether you are new to the area or a longtime local, these clubs offer a natural way to spend time outdoors, stay active, and get to know the community. From competitive tournaments to relaxed weekly rounds and casual gatherings after play, there is an option for every level and style of golfer.
Men’s Clubs
Tahoe Incline Golf Club (TIGC)
The Tahoe Incline Golf Club is a long-standing nonprofit focused on camaraderie, competition, and community. Members enjoy access to organized tournaments, weekday mini-events, and social gatherings throughout the season.
Membership also includes NCGA access and a GHIN handicap, making it a strong fit for golfers who want both structure and social connection. The club plays primarily at the Championship Course and welcomes men from across the North Lake Tahoe region. [Learn more]
Women’s Clubs
Incline Village Teesters
The Incline Village Teesters have been part of the community since 1984, offering an 18-hole league focused on both skill development and social connection.
Their season runs May through October, with play scheduled across both local courses. In addition to signature tournaments like the Member/Guest and Club Championship, the group hosts luncheons, social events, and even off-season golf getaways. It is a well-rounded club for women who want a mix of golf and community. [Learn more by contacting Teesters representative, Cheryl Evans, via email [email protected] or phone 775-690-1056]
Mountain Niners
For a more relaxed and flexible format, the Mountain Niners Golf Club offers a welcoming nine-hole option. Founded in 2009, the group was created to encourage participation at all skill levels in a comfortable, supportive environment.
They primarily play at the Mountain Course and are ideal for those who want a shorter round without sacrificing the social experience. [Learn more]
Co-Ed Club
Golfers of Incline
If your ideal round of golf is casual, social, and low-pressure, Golfers of Incline offers exactly that. This co-ed group meets Sunday afternoons throughout the summer, with nine scheduled gatherings from June through September. The emphasis is less on competition and more on connection. Many members stay after their round to share food, drinks, and conversation.
Even if you cannot make every round, you can still participate in the social side of the group. Membership is limited and tends to fill quickly, so it is worth reaching out early to check availability. [Learn more]
One of the things that makes Incline Village and Crystal Bay special is how easy it is to find your people. Golf clubs are one of the most natural entry points into that community. You are not just signing up for tee times. You are joining a network of neighbors, friends, and familiar faces you will see all summer long.
If you know of another golf group in the area, I would love to include it here. Feel free to reach out at [email protected] and I will continue to update this list.
