Decisions made by the IVGID Board of Trustees affect nearly every part of life in Incline Village and Crystal Bay, from water and sewer infrastructure to recreation facilities, capital projects and resident fees.
Three candidates are running for two seats. I spent an hour interviewing each of them about their experience, priorities and approach to governing. My decision was not based on whether a candidate agreed with me on every issue. I considered how each person approaches difficult decisions, responds to disagreement, works with others and balances Board oversight with respect for District staff.
